Geothermal Energy
Did you know, Geothermal energy could be one of the fastest-growing energy production sectors over the next twenty years! As you probably are aware, oil and coal will eventually run out and Geothermal power will be one of the best fuel source alternatives to replace them.
Maybe you think there isn?t much you can do?
In these days of sky-high oil and gas prices and the threat of catastrophic global warming, Geothermal Energy represents itself as one of the best energy generation alternatives in both the short and long term. The Hot Rocks Power Cooperative is a nonprofit organization that seeks to encourage the growth of this technology and promote its use to the general public.

We hope to boost public understanding of the uses, costs, benefits, and ancillary issues around Geothermal power. In this interest, we provide a substantial amount of relevant, up-to-date, and accessible information on our site. Additionally, we host a forum in order that consumers and businesses concerned about these issues can meet online and share questions, ideas, and concerns. This facilitates the forming of alliances between industry, government, and concerned private citizens.
The Hot Rocks Cooperative also seeks to connect Geothermal vendors with potential customers around the world . We believe in saving businesses and consumers substantial amounts of money, both by prescreening Geothermal contractors and by enabling projects that produce net-energy-cost savings that continue long term into the future.
Another goal of ours is to organize the many constituencies served to lobby for government investment in, and favorable regulatory for, this technology. We believe that the growing consequences of global warming caused by unrestrained burning of fossil fuels represents a major economical, as well as environmental, challenge to governments across the world. By promoting Geothermal energy as a practical method of replacing these current, inefficient methods, we hope to make a significant, long term contribution to resolving this problem.
